Greetings ~

President Trump was asked to be the Grand Marshal at the 2020 Daytona 500 NASCAR Race. Trump is no stranger to auto racing. The president took his family with him and they had a fabulous time there. NASCAR fans and drivers are big supporters of president Trump. Which shows that NASCAR fans and drivers are smarter than a lot of people in America.

The president and first lady got a warm welcome. They really showed that they are the administration for the people. Trump loves to mingle and get to see and know the American citizens. He loves to get into the crowd. He loves talking with the American people. He met several drivers and got a chance to talk with the Blue Angels pilots. Rain dampened the event at first and postponed the race. But then it was on and everything went well until a crash toward the end. But all in all, the day was very exciting.

It was nice to see the president enjoying himself for a change. The first lady looked great as she always does. The Daytona fans came out in droves to see and possibly meet Trump. He was truly in his element. To see all the fan's Trump flags and posters and other support, it's no secret where America's heartland stands on this country, and who they want to continue to run it. So, I hope the democrats took notice of where the REAL American public stands. Probably not. They still believe that they are winning. How sad. I am very surprised that the democrats have not belittled the president and first lady for the Air Force One flyover that the fans loved. Or the presidential limousine taking the first lap that was a first. Or anything else they could think up to complain about. Maybe they thought that it cost too much for the presidential plane to fly over the stands. But that would have been a lot less than the $300-million dollars that Obama spent to carry his family, crew and cars and equipment to his homeland, Kenya a few years ago.

But to get back to Sunday, Trump proved once more that he was interested in America. And, no matter if you like it or not, NASCAR is pure American. In my opinion, there was no better place for Trump to be on Sunday then at that race. I guess he figured that way too.

It has to be said that Trump is not the first president to attend a NASCAR race during his term in office. President George W. Bush did it also. But then, he was another republican.
